Not only has Python become one of the most widely used general-purpose programming languages utilized by developers, business professionals, and data scientists across all industries, it also offers a variety of packages that help users create dynamic and actionable visualizations. Powerful libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn are some of Python’s most popular visualization frameworks, allowing analysts and decision makers within the domains of business and finance to work seamlessly within the most commonly used Python development environments.
During this hands-on, one-day course, attendees will learn the basics of using visualization tools within Python, including conducting exploratory data visualization exercises with various real-world datasets. In today’s highly robust and data-rich world, there is only so much one can glean from looking at traditional descriptive statistics. Enter Python's seamless and versatile ability to generate easy to comprehend and explore graphics, charts, and interactive plots.
This workshop will also equip users with an understanding of foundational course context areas including an overview of descriptive statistics.
Attendees can use either a Mac or Windows computer for this class.
