COURSE OVERVIEW

According to Gartner research, the business value-add of blockchain will grow to slightly more than $176 billion by 2025, and then it will exceed $3.1 trillion by 2030. Blockchain was once a technology that was purely associated with cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin. Over the years, blockchain has emerged as a leading technology poised to disrupt a myriad of industries given resilient and tamper-proof records that are created from the deployment of such technology.

In this course, participants will develop a deep understanding of what blockchain is and how it works as well as dive into various business and finance applications. By the end of the training, attendees will be able to confidently interface with technical blockchain development teams to collaboratively identify and develop new products and services that utilize this innovative and powerful technology. This course will also cut through the hype surrounding the birth of digital assets built on public blockchains such as Ethereum and EOS and how this new asset class as a whole is impacting the realms of venture capital and entrepreneurship.

This is not a programming-based class, but attendees should still bring a Mac or Windows computer to be able to access workshop notes.
